Freetown, 27 July 2011 – Within the framework of the existing Public Sector Reform Programme, the European Commission has approved the sum of Euro 10.5 million towards the on-going Civil Service and other Institutional Reform initiatives in Sierra Leone.
Freetown, 2 May 2012 – A delegation from the government of Sierra Leone has reached an agreement with the World Bank during consultations in Washington D.C in the United States for the provision of funds amounting to the sum of US$17 million to support the implementation of the three cornerstone components in the new public sector reform namely: Pay Reform; Recruitment and Staffing and performance management.
