MPAPA, PSRU Synergise in Revamping the Public Service Architecture

Senior Management of the Ministry of Public Administration and Political Affairs, MPAPA, and the Public Sector Reform Unit, PSRU, promised to work in synergy in revamping the Public Service Architecture, a critical pillar of the Government Big 5 Game Changers.

Addressing a round table meeting at the PSRU Conference Room on Thursday 21st March, 2024, the Director of PSRU, Sulaiman Phoray-Musa, urged the Technical Teams of the two institutions to work collaboratively in developing policies and programmes to actualize the vision of H.E Brigadier Rtd. Maada Bio, particularly with regard to Revamping of the Public Service Architecture.

He said that plans are underway to convene a donor conference and that a comprehensive strategic plan should be developed and costed.

Mr. Phoray-Musa urged the meeting to consider incorporating the six commitments of H. E President Julius Maada Bio into the strategic plan in order for the document to be holistic and captures the wider public service.

PSRU, he said, is a critical player in the revamping of the Public Service Architecture, and promised his unflinching support to the Minister and the Ministry in achieving this important pillar.

Mr. Sigismond Sesay, a member of the Technical Team from the Ministry of Public Administration and Political Affairs, said there is a symbiotic relationship between the Ministry and PSRU noting that while the Ministry is mandated to formulate policies they cannot do it in isolation.
