Fair Wages and Salaries Commission, Ghana (GFWSC) prepares GoSL for Job Evaluation
Reforming the pay structure of the civil Service plays a pivotal role in the ongoing reform programme. However, the benefit of pay reform cannot be achieved without conducting a job evaluation for the Civil service. The international Centre for Parliamentary Studies training event took place in Ghana on from the 28th to the 3rd April 2015. The Sierra Leone delegation comprised 3 members each from HRMO and PSC, 1 from MoFED/AGD and 2 from PSRU. The title of the training is “Leadership, Management and Models of Public Service Delivery”. The training was designed to provide mid-Senior level staff the required Leadership and Management skills and competencies for improving Service delivery in the Public Service.

The World Bank Implementation Support Mission was in Freetown from the 6-14th February 2014 to assess progress made on the implementation of activities for the Sierra Leone Pay and Performance Project(P&PP)

The Public Sector Reform has collaborated with the Cabinet Secretariat, Human Resources Management Office, The Public Service Commission and the Ministry of Finance and Economic Development to undertake a three-day nation-wide sensitization forum which was held in Freetown, Makeni and Bo districts.
