Annual Progress Report on Public Sector Reform January – December 2011

In 2011, the Public Sector Reform Unit focused on the development and institutionalization of systems and processes for improved service delivery across MDAs. By developing and guiding the strategic implementation of a number of key interventions and incorporating new management and administrative structures, the PSRU created the enabling environment capable of supporting and facilitating sustained improvements in the public service delivery system. The Public Sector Reform Programme was reviewed in 2011. In order to ensure consistency and connectivity in public sector reforms across the various reform environments, the reviewed programme focused on the original eight thematic components (with specific areas of emphases) of the Public Sector Reform Programme, namely:
