PSRU Holds Inception Meeting with Office of the Ombudsman for the conduct of an MFR

The Public Sector Reform on Tuesday 3rd June 2025, held an inception meeting with the office of the Ombudsman for the conduct of a management and functional review.

The Chief of Programs, PSRU, Mr. Albert Williams informed the meeting that the Management and Functional Review seeks to identify gaps, functional overlaps and inefficiencies and formulate recommendations to enhance the performance of the institution for effective service delivery.

Mr Idrissa Koroma, Head of Institutional Reforms, gave an in-depth presentation on the objective of the MFR, its thematic areas and the methodology the will be used to conduct the research.

He explained that the finalised report will be presented to the Steering Committee on Public Sector Reform for scrutiny before it is sent to cabinet for approval.

The Executive Secretary Office of the Ombudsman, Kanja Ibrahim Sesay assures PSRU of their commitment to the process adding that he is confident that the report will yield the desired result.
