Morrison I.B. Arouna

Have served as a humanitarian worker for more than 10 years starting in 2008/2009 as Programmes and District Manager at the Sierra Leone Red Cross Society, Southern Region. Worked with the Sierra Leone Red Cross Society in partnership with the International Federation of the Red Crescent (IFRC) as Deputy Director of Programmes and Operations in 2017 and subsequently as Director of Programmes and Operations in 2018. Have worked in various capacities with some Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs ) and Government Institutions: Rice Research Station, Rokupr, Kambia (Information/Librarian -1998); Lutheran World Federation (LWF-Bo Office) as (Documentation and Records Officer 2007/2008) among others. Have also worked as Head of Records – Archival Department, Births and Deaths Directorate (2020) and later as Senior Policy and Planning Officer (2022) at the National Civil Registration Authority (NCRA) Head Quarters, Freetown respectively. Holds a Masters degree in Peace and Development Studies, Certificate in Project Management from Njala University College. Additionally, a Bachelor of Arts degree in the humanities; a Post graduate Diploma in Education and a Diploma in Library ,Records and Information Science , all obtained from Fourah Bay College, University of Sierra Leone.
