Director
Sulaiman Phoray-Musa has years of experience working in the development and governance sector within the government and with International Non-Governmental Organizations. He is the Director of the Public Sector Reform Unit. He provides strategic and technical leadership to support public and civic institutions effectively and efficiently deliver their duties and responsibilities. Before his current position, Sulaiman was the Director of Donor Coordination at the Ministry of Health and Sanitation, where he effectively coordinated donor initiatives in line with government priorities. Before joining the civil service, he also served as a Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist for both USAID and FCDO, where he oversaw the implementation of complex projects that contributed to the development strides of Sierra Leone. Sulaiman's academic and professional qualifications are a testament to his commitment to continuous learning and professional development. He holds a Master’s in Business Administration and Sustainable Development from The University of Milan in partnership with the University of Makeni, and a Project Management degree from the University of Salford. His professional training in governance, strategic reform, and leadership has significantly enhanced his ability to deliver high-quality work. Sulaiman's expertise in managing collaborative partnerships and strategic interventions is a testament to his ability to create synergy and ensure efficient resource utilisation. His proficiency in developing, planning, and monitoring strategic and policy-led initiatives has significantly contributed to achieving international commitments and improving Sierra Leone's governance and development sector.
