Thomas Johnny

Thomas Johnny is an experienced development researcher with a very good understanding of Governance and public policy. He has over fifteen years of experience conducting research, policy analysis, building capacity, monitoring and evaluation of development projects and programmes, developing sector and Organisational strategies and plans as well as appraising, designing and implementing donor funded projects. He has served in several capacities nationally and internationally. He has a wealth of knowledge working with civil society organization across Africa having worked with local level delivery efforts during his tenure with INGOs in Sierra Leone, Kenya, Ghana, Senegal and the entire West and Central Africa as he was previously the Regional Governance Coordinator for West and Central Africa in ActionAid Africa based in Nairobi Mr. Johnny has a Master of Arts degree in Development Studies and a Bachelor of Science with Honours degree in Agricultural Economics. Mr. Johnny has undertaken several consultancies relating to Strategy developments, capacity building, program reviews as well as M&E for various national and international organizations in Sierra Leone.
